Kelly Nguyen Endorsed by Mike "Mish" Shedlock

The Committee to Elect Kelly Nguyen is pleased to announce that leading economist Mike “Mish” Shedlock has endorsed Kelly Nguyen for Georgia’s 5th Congressional District. Mish Shedlock predicted the downturn of the American economy years before the real estate bubble began to unwind in 2007.

“Mish Shedlock is one of the few individuals who got it right about the economy,” Nguyen said this afternoon. “He is one of the leading economists of our time, and he sees that my platform and beliefs are in line with rejuvenating America’s prosperity,” she added.

Ms. Nguyen advocates a full audit of the Federal Reserve System and immediately ending deficit spending. In addition, she has pledged to reduce and eliminate the income tax and remove government-imposed barriers to small business.

“Mish Shedlock’s endorsement is quite an honor. He is well known for speaking the truth about economics” said campaign manager Travis Jones. “Before the economy got so bad and everyone was talking about how wonderful things were, he was on the forefront trying to warn people of the danger ahead,” Jones added.

In his endorsement for Kelly Nguyen, Mish Shedlock praised Kelly Nguyen’s no-nonsense approach to dealing with federal waste and infringement on Americans’ liberties.

“It's long overdue we elect Congressional representatives who will uphold the constitution, are fiscally conservative, and genuinely want to do something about bureaucratic waste and massive government spending,” Shedlock said. “If you want to lower your taxes and restore fiscal sanity to Congress, please vote for Kelly Nguyen! Contact your neighbors and have them do the same,” he added.

The Republican Party primary election will be held on July 20, 2010. For more information please visit www.votekelly2010.com. To schedule an interview with Ms. Nguyen, please contact campaign manager Travis Jones at (678) 694-7219.
